The
Florida Food Products Process
From The Garden
The harvest season is primarily November
to June. Before harvest, cultivars are selected for nutrient and phytoceutical
content. Hybrids are often developed
using tissue culture or
through exhaustive cross-breeding. Farmers are
audited for traceability and chemical input or, if applicable,
under the guidelines of the natural organic program (NOP).
To Our Factory
Bulk transport equipment hauls produce to
our factory the same day as harvest. Produce can be held in refrigerated
storage or is processed
within 24 hours. Incoming materials are checked to meet specification
for freshness, cleanliness, and chemical assay.
To Extraction
Produce enters the factory in bulk
then passes manual grading and magnet sensors. Each vegetable/fruit
product has a uniquely developed process to meet requirements of stability,
freshness, and rich color. In less than an hour, from raw materials
entering the factory, juice concentrates are in storage under frozen
conditions. Low temperature evaporation is one of the keys
to our high color and freshness standards. Juice concentrates,
as clarified/cloudy and as liquid blends, are delivered directly to
the customer.

Finished products are shipped frozen,
preserved, or as shelf stable powders in 5 gallon, 55 gallon,

lined boxes. Certificates of analysis are provided with each order.
Our transportation, customer
service, and marketing departments are committed to responding
to your requests within 24 hours.
