Food Products, Inc., founded in 1954, was incorporated as an
orange juice concentrate manufacturing plant with related citrus
growing and by-product manufacture.
Utilizing similar packaging technologies used in the citrus
industry, FFP pioneered the commercial production of carbonated
beverages. By 1971
FFP was the largest contract carbonated beverage canner in the
eastern United States. After
divesture of this business segment and several devastating
freezes, FFP initiated commercial production of aloe vera gel,
carrot juice concentrate and numerous other extracts for the food,
cosmetic, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
Current business activities include commercial frozen and
dry warehouse storage, orange grove care taking, industrial
ingredient manufacture, land development and agricultural adjuvant
manufacture. After 5
years of development, INVITE*EC was launched in the year 2000. |
