Building the Industry
With Eustis Commerce Park, Florida Food Products leaders Jerry and Tom Brown are working to create a hub for industries specializing in allied and complementary services such as processing, researching and packaging food products, while being zoned for the widest possible range of industrial/manufacturing uses in the area.
The brothers are fourth-generation Florida natives, and are thoroughly familiar with the region. Jerry has a BS in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida and Tom is a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Finance.
Eustis Florida Commerce Park Recognized With Industrial Awards
U.S. Nutraceuticals, a botanical extracts supplier, took the 2002 High-Tech Award for its innovative use of the supercritical carbon dioxide extraction process for processing world-class extracts including saw palmetto, kava, ginger and rosemary for food and medicinal purposes.
High-Tech Countryside
Amidst the sparkling Harris Chain of Lakes, the award-winning, 90 acre Eustis Commerce Park resembles a stunning wildlife preserve with a setting which is more park than commerce. Here, native vegetation and wildlife – including palmettos and gators – abound.
Yet, Eustis Commerce Park is all about the future, looking to attract technology-based agricultural businesses and complementary industry to this market.
